Souvenir Building Collector’s Society

Collectors collect. Then they seek out other collectors who share their passion. Almost anything collected has a group of people who are also interested amassing whatever it is…..coins, Pez, matchbooks, you name it. If it can be collected, then like-minded people will find each other. The Souvenir Building Collector’s Society is our group. The SBCS was formed in 1994 by a small group of avid collectors and has grown to hundreds. We have members from all over the world, but mostly within the U.S. A newsletter is distributed to members 3 times a year. For 13 years now, the SBCS has organized an annual convention in different cities in North America. This year’s convention will be the held from May 30-June 1 in Charlottesville, Virginia. This convention includes tours of local members’ private collections, architectural walking tours, a social dinner and the ever-popular swap meet & raffle of little buildings. The SCBC is a great way to meet fellow collectors, find a few new additions to your collection and learn something new – whatever your collecting level.
