Did you catch PBS’s Antiques Roadshow's recent
episode of hour 3 from Chattanooga, Tennessee? At the end of the show, two
women in the Feedback Booth show off their antique pot-metal Statue of Liberty
lamp and reveal it was appraised for $20. Umm...only twenty bucks? I’m sure some
building collectors who don’t have this one would be willing to pay more than
that. It’s a nice, well-made and vintage item that looks great surrounded by
other souvenir buildings. Watch the full episode. I wrote previously about my own experience
having items appraised during the Roadshow’s stop in Washington, D.C.
